Established over 50 years
Originally based in an attic in Horsforth [89 Town Street] above their accountants, D’Arcy Howard, expansion meant that the business was relocated to Brighouse. Recession meant that another re-location to more frugal 2-storey premises above a Guy Watson’s in Shipley [Kirkgate] and then a final relocation to extended offices at 1 Rosse Street, Shipley.
In 2020 Batty France incorporated as a Limited Company, which coincided with the retirement of Colin after over 50 years within the business. The Directors of the new Limited Company are Ashley France (Colin’s eldest son) and Adam Kenvyn.
Although based mainly in the Yorkshire Region, Batty France’s clients are generally nationally based. This has not restricted some wider commissions in Europe and Eastern Europe.
Our diverse client base has enabled Batty France to gain diverse experience in most construction and property related matters – mostly targeted around each clients Chartered Building Consultant or Quantity Surveying needs.
